FINAL REGULAR SEASON POWER RATINGS FOR TOP 6 NCAA FOOTBALL TEAMS

1.     CLEMSON       103.8
Tigers were able to leap frog Alabama
with their no challenge ACC Championship game
        over Pittsburgh.

2.       ALABAMA       102.8
Tide probably could be # 1 if it was not for
their hard fought win over Georgia.

3.       OKLAHOMA       91.6
Redeemed their earlier loss to Texas.  Explosive
offense, but defense very much in question.

4.       GEORGIA       91.6
Dawgs had every chance to upset Bama.  Fake punt
showed little confidence to hold Alabama at the end.
Certainly it was a costly decision.

5.       NOTRE DAME      90.6
Irish walked into a final 4 playoff spot without having
to play a conference championship game. Maybe it is time
Notre Dame officially joins a football conference.

6.       OHIO STATE          90.1
Impressive win over rival Michigan was not good enough
to get into the final 4.  A few shaky wins kept their power
          rating down.

FINAL 4 EARLY LAS VEGAS LINES

Alabama     - 14.0     over     Oklahoma
Clemson     - 11.5     over     Notre Dame

This year's bowl matchups look more challenging than last. These ratings should help. I thought everyone had Alabama rated #1

I think Ohio State could beat Notre Dame even though they are behind them in power ratings

I'd put Oklahoma over Alabama if they could get their defense in order

I know Alabama beat Georgia but I think GeorgiasG better overall and would beat them in a rematch

The points for Alabama look too high unless their defense can shut Oklahoma fown

It will be interesting to see if Urban Myers retirement announcement will help or hurt the team in the bowl game

I got Clemson over Notre Dame but I'm not sure if they'll cover the 11.5
