COLLEGE BASKETBALL OFFICIATING IS GETTING WORSE

Relax, turn on any NCAA basketball game in the comforts in your own home and some time during that game there will be a feeling of frustration come upon you.  It is always nice when the referee's calls go in the favor of  the team you support, but sooner or later you may find yourself screaming at your TV as the next whistle goes against your beloved team and you can only think how ridiculous that call was.  You may be right in your assessment as as to how ridiculous that call was, but keep in mind that the opposing team may already had experienced one like that.  Unfortunately, college basketball officiating has gotten worse and  totally lacks consistency.  There is some consistency with several officials and those are the ones that think thousands of fans packed in that arena have come to see them or those that will definitely play to the crowd.  The bottom line is that referees in many instances are determining the outcome of the game as opposed to letting the players make that determination.

IN SUMMATION:     NCAA OFFICIATING NEEDS TO IMPROVE AND WE CANNOT EMPHASIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF HOW MUCH.  COLLEGE BASKETBALL DESERVES MUCH BETTER.

I'd estimate a minimum of 25% of NCAA basketball games that I've seen this year have been impacted by the officials.

You must not watch Big 10 hoops, their officials impact more than 25% of games

the big12 refs change the outcome of games and are the worst by far
