BAD FEW DAYS FOR COACHES JIM AND JOHN HARBAUGH

Not sure it  is worse ending the year 2017 or beginning the year 2018,
but I guess we would have to ask the Harbaughs.

JOHN HARBAUGH---BALTIMORE RAVENS COACH
The Ravens entered Sunday's NFL games needing a win over the
less than average Cincinnati Bengals to get into the post season playoffs.
It seemed like it was not going to be that difficult as the Ravens were 
8 point favorites to secure their playoff spot.  With 44 seconds left in the game
and the Ravens ahead 27-24, the Bengals were down to a 4th down and 12
yards for a 1st down with no timeouts left.  The Ravens had to be feeling good about this time.
only to see the Bengals hit on a 49 yard touchdown pass from Dalton to Boyd.
HEARTBREAK     SEASON OVER    BUFFALO IN THE PLAYOFFS

JIM HARBAUGH---MICHIGAN HEAD COACH
New Years day was not the start of the new year that Harbaugh and Michigan were
hoping for.  The Big 10 Conference had already  won their first 7 bowl games and with Michigan being an 8 point favorite over an average at best South Carolina team, it looked like the Big 10
could record a perfect post season record.  Things were looking pretty good for that to happen
as Michigan had a 19-3 lead in the 3rd quarter.  Apparently Michigan thought that was enough to
 win this game as they failed to score another point while watching South Carolina score 23 straight
points on their way to a 26-19 win.
TOTAL COLLAPSE     SEASON OVER      NO JOY AT THE BIG HOUSE
NO PERFECT BIG 10 BOWL RECORD

SO    WHAT IS WORSE?  A SEASON ENDING HEATBREAK LOSS OR A 2018
TOTAL COLLAPSE.  MAYBE BEING 8 POINT FAVORITES DOES NOT AGREE
WITH EITHER HARBAUGH  WE JUST HAVE TO ASK THEM.
