The national championship playoff bowl season started yesterday and 3 out of the 4 teams showed up to play, Alabama as a 14 point favorite defeated Washington 24-7 so that game pretty much went as expected. Ohio State as a 2.5 point favorite over Clemson apparently got wrong directions to the stadium and were embarrassed with a 31-0 loss. Many thought Clemson could win this game, including myself, but I am sure no one expected a lopsided game. Many thought Ohio State did not belong in the playoff picture in the first place. After all, the Buckeyes did not even win the Big 10 Conference, but the playoff committee decided that Ohio State was one of the top 4 teams in the country. The committee, made up of some non experienced football members, not only had Ohio State in the top 4, but had them seeded as the # 2 best team. Ohio State by far was not the # 2 team in the country. Oklahoma probably would defeat them in a rematch and Southern Cal, maybe the hottest team at seasons end, would most likely had little trouble defeating them as well. Of course all of this is speculation, but one thing is for sure

I never saw that 1_coming. If anything I wouldve guessed OSU would have the 31. I like Clemson but I'm not sure they'll keep it going against Alabama
Ohio State did what they do better than any other school in the world - - they sucked. Congratz from me to you O-S-U -- YOU SUCK!
