Last night mens championship game between Villanova and North Carolina will go down as one of the best final games ever. Our power ratings had the game pretty much even and Vegas had North Carolina as a 2 point favorite. All this indicated that we would have a good game and for sure, we were not left disappointed. Tonight, we will get the womens version of the NCAA championship as Connecticut takes on Syracuse. I have to wonder how many truly care to watch this game. or have any interest whatsoever. I am not putting down womens basketball, but lets face it, when one team dominates the sport year after year, the interest becomes almost non existent. Connecticut dominates every year and it appears that the rest of the teams play to see who finishes second. The Syracuse ladies put together an outstanding season that they can be very proud of, but based on expert opinions and stats, they do not seem to have much of a chance. Imagine if we were filling out our brackets for the womens tournament and all we would have to do on every entry was to pencil in, Connecticut as the winner. A championship game should be exciting with people picking a winner that could go either way. Vegas has Connecticut as a 24.5 point favorite. With odds like that, I have to wonder how much true interest will be in this game. Do we really care??
NOTE: CONNECTICUT WINS 82-51 SO MUCH FOR CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES

Women's bball bores me. All I know is at the end of the season Connecticut wins
I saw one women's game and it was 5 years ago and UConn won that one too
that score = the most boring championship game of all time
That's brutal for a final game
UConn women's basketball always wins and almost always covers. They may not be much to watch but they can make some money for you
