A FEW THOUGHTS FROM THE WORLD OF SPORTS

TIGER WOODS     Tiger has announced that he will play in this years US Open.  I wish him all the best, but not sure Oakmont is the place for a comeback.  Making the cut at least would be a plus for him and for the game of golf.

JOHNNY MANZIEL     I have to wonder what will come first when it comes to Manziel     Back in the NFL or a period of time in jail???  Feel free to vote

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS     Watched part of the playoffs the other night.  Anyone else notice that LeBron James does all the talking during time outs.  Does not appear that the Cavs need a coach when they have James running the team.

NORTH CAROLINA BASKETBALL     NCAA has come up with additional findings of academic fraud dating back to almost 20 years.  To date there have been no penalties or sanctions against the Tar Heels.  Men's coach, Roy Williams claims to have no knowledge of any academic fraud.  It is very hard to believe that a coach would have no knowledge of what subjects his players are taking and for sure have an interest in how those players are doing in those courses.  If Williams truly had no knowledge of fraud, then apparently he has no interest  in any of his players other than basketball.
Parents of future recruits BEWARE!!!

LA CLIPPERS     With Paul and Griffin out with injuries,  the playoffs look bleak for Doc Rivers and company.  Maybe next year.

SKIP BAYLESS     Skip Bayless from ESPN "First Take" fame has announced that he will be leaving the show when his contract ends in August.  Supposedly, Bayless turned down a 4 million dollar per year deal to renew with ESPN in favor of jumping ship over to Fox Sports for a reported deal in the range of 5 to 6 million.  Seems to be alot of money to be giving someone just for their opinion on things, especially when most do not agree with him.  Sorry Skip   NOT WORTH IT

FOX SPORTS     Can't wait to see how Fox will do another hatchet job when they broadcast this years US Open in golf.  Of all the tournaments I have watched on TV, Last years Fox coverage of the US Open was by far the worst.  Joe Buck and company need to stick to football or baseball or whatever they do,  They do nothing  for golf

AS ALWAYS, WE WELCOME ANY COMMENTS ON THESE SUBJECTS OR ANY OTHER SPORTS RELATED TOPIC YOU CARE TO SHARE.

J-Manziel Goes to Jail, that's my prediction. And for Skip Bayless, the man makes his opinions sound like he has knowledge of sports- it's laughable

Tiger's return should be interesting...in a good way or possibly a teeth-grinding embarrassing way

My vote on Manzeil is that he's done with football. IF he makes it back nobody will want him and if a team takes him he'll be a 3stringer and eventually be let go or quit.

That looks about right to me. I don't see him going anywhere
