A FEW THOUGHTS FROM THE WORLD OF SPORTS

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS      LeBron James had former coach. David Blatt fired and had his hand picked, Tyronn Lue take his place.  Lue appears to have the same super ego as James as he predicted that the Cavs would now be a better team.  For the record, Blatt was fired with a record of 30-11, while Lue and James finished the season with a record of 27-14.  So much for being better.

COLLEGE BASKETBALL     Everyone enjoys watching some big guy slam dunk the ball during a game.  I have to wonder how much  success some of these big guys would have if dunking the ball was not allowed.  There is not much talent needed to dunk a basketball.  Commentators say some player has a shooting percentage of maybe 60% but no one considers the fact that 90% of the players shots might be the dunk.  Maybe we should eliminate the dunk and see how much talent some of these players really have.

WILL SMITH     Former New Orleans Saint, Will Smith was gunned down in an apparent incident that resulted into a road rage incident.  I have to wonder where are the BLACK LIVES MATTER activists when such a tragic occurrence takes place.

RAY RICE     For those who may not remember, Ray Rice,he was the guy who knocked out his fiance in an Atlantic City casino elevator.  Rice was suspended by the NFL and released by the Baltimore Ravens  Rice has since been reinstated by the NFL, but to date no team has picked him up.
Ray Rice should be back in the NFL playing for some team.  Before anyone gets overly excited. I want to state that in no way I condone abuse on a woman.  However since that time, Rice has completed anger management, been reinstated by the NFL,and  has full support of his wife (the victim)  If the Dallas Cowboys can pay convicted woman beater, Greg Hardy millions of dollars, then no doubt, Ray Rice deserves a second chance.

AUGUSTA NATIONAL GOLF CLUB     Is it just me or does anyone else get the feeling that Augusta would be somewhat of a stuffy kind of club to belong to.

JOHNNY MANZIEL     No other words can describe, Manziel, except that he has become a total burn out.  I wish someone would expose the crowd he runs  with.  These freeloaders do nothing in terms of supporting Manziel, but continue to lead in  his demise.  Drugs, alcohol and immaturity are the things that define Manziel and his "friends" today.

DUNKS make the game. But they can be an overkill and don't take a lot for a 7FT dude

in my experience any club that has a long roadway leading up to it is stuffy - just my opinion

I like seeing a dunk that gets ejected by the rim

Johnny Manziel is just embracing his lack of talent by not playing football, that's as nicely as it can be put.

I was one of a few to say that I was happy when Lebron left Miami. I said he'd bring the same BS to Miami that he took to Cleveland if he stayed in Miami

Without dunking I'd bet there would be 10% less players in college basketball

People go crazy when a guy who is 2 feet away from the rim dunks a ball, I never understood it neither

James is overrated and many NBA owners know zilch about basketball

I give LeBron 1 more season. If he ain't going to a championship game by then he'll be looking to leave the Cavs

If they take away the dunk shot I see s lot of ppg averages going down for big guys....which is probably better overall for the sport

I seen refs eject players, but never a rim

Cleveland doesnt have much. Lebron is like their prize possession. They do what he says because without him theyre just Cleveland
