We will be taking some time off to do some travel and will be back online, June 13 or 14.  In the meantime I will leave you with a few thoughts and welcome all comments on  these subjects or any others you may want to share with our followers regarding sports.

NBA CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES.....Our projected odds on these games remain to be Golden State as a 7 point favorite when playing at home and Cleveland being a 1 point favorite when returning to their home court.  Current Las Vegas odds on game # 1 has Golden State as a 6 point favorite and I expect the odds on each game to be close to our projections.  We are staying with our pick of Golden State to win it all.

WHERE WOULD YOU RATE LEBRON JAMES TO FORMER PLAYERS.......From time to time there are discussions as to who is the best NBA player of all time.  Rather getting into all possibilities, I have simplified the picks to 3 players..Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron.
Our choices would be:  # 1 Jordan..# 2 Johnson..# 3 James.

IS BARRY BONDS THE BEST MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL PLAYER OF ALL TIME.....Numerous times. Skip Bayless of ESPN show "First Take" has stated that Bonds is the best.
Personally I do not see how Bonds could compare to the likes of Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, or Mickey Mantle for example.  These 3 players did everything the right way and I sincerely have trouble supporting a PED user as being the best.

JOHNNY MANZIEL.....Anyone notice that the name "Football" does not appear very often anymore when Manziel's name is mentioned lately.  Reports out of Cleveland is Manziel "No Longer Johnny Football" is struggling in preseason workouts and could possibly face with being cut.  Not sure I can agree with that part, but still do not see great things happening for him.  So much for the over media hype we all experienced since his playing days at Texas A & M.

GREAT GOLF COURSES TO PLAY IF YOU CAN AFFORD THEM....Recently we wrote about the affordability of some of the courses that the Pros play. We wrote about, Donald Trump's Blue Monster in Miami going for a price of around $290.00 plus tax and here are a few more to consider if you do not mind emptying your wallet.  Actual rates may vary, but this will give you some idea as to what you may expect.  Pebble Beach (California) $495.00...Whistling Straits Wisconsin) $390.00...
Ocean Course (Kiawah Island South Carolina) $370.00...Shadow Creek (Las Vegas) $500.00...
Pinehurst # 2 (North Carolina) $410.00...TPC Sawgrass (Florida) $375.00...Pete Dye Couse (French Lick Indiana) $350.00...Harbour Town (Hilton Head Island South Carolina) $260.00...Beth Page Black (New York) $150.00.  Beth Page at this price might be worth it.  If anyone can suggest a way to get better rates on any of these courses or recommend any other outstanding course at a reasonable price, then please feel free to share with our followers. I will post a few in mind upon my return next week.
