KENTUCKY WINS BUT DOES ANYONE REALLY CARE

Today was going to possibly be a challenge for the Kentucky Wildcats to extend their unbeaten record this season as they faced the # 2 SEC team, Arkansas.  Although the game got its normal hype for fans to tune in on national TV, we had the game rated that Kentucky would win by 18.    Las Vegas had the odds at Kentucky being a 14.5 favorite.  Based on Vegas and our numbers. it is easy to see that truly Arkansas should not be much of a match for the Wildcats.  So Kentucky wins again, 84-67, but outside of their die hard fans, does anyone really care??  After all. the team is made up of so many parade all Americans. that anything less than winning would not be expected.  Kentucky plays in the weakest overall conference and truly there is no team there to contend with them.  Even if they win the national championship and go undefeated for the year. we do not expect coach, John Calipari to be getting any coach of the year awards.  He has an all star team and truly his toughest job is to keep the ship afloat.  Give Calipari credit for his ability to recruit, but anything short of a national championship would be a disappointing season.  Calipari tries to downplay the talent of his players by stating in interviews as to how much this team has to work on to improve their game.  Maybe he is referring to them playing in the NBA, but there is not much left to do to compete at the college level.
I am not saying Kentucky is unbeatable and there will be more legitimate challenges coming in the NCAA tournament, but for now does anyone really care that this team continues to win???

THey have a better chance of people caring if they win the national championship and prove they can beat more than just the small competition they got in there own conference
