I have to ask, when was the last time the Cleveland Browns were 7-5 after their first 12 games of the season? At the start of this season, no one truly thought the Browns would still be in the playoff picture. This unsuspected accomplishment can be partly attributed to the play of QB, Brian Hoyer. Hoyer has not had the services of top receiver, Josh Gordon, but still has been able to keep the Browns in contention. I am finding it difficult to use the words Browns and contention in the same sentence, but Hoyer and company have gotten them to that point. You notice I have not included the name of Manziel as being a part to the teams success. Hoyer has played well enough and Manziel has been on the bench all season and despite all of that, it appears we have a QB controversy in Cleveland. Cleveland played one of their worst games last week in falling to the Buffalo Bills, 26-10. Manziel finished the game in a mop up role and scored a TD against a defense that had already been thinking what to have for their Sunday dinner. The media, talk show personnel, analysts and whoever could get people to listen to them have been stirring the controversy in asking the big question.........WHO WILL BROWN'S COACH, MIKE PETTINE START AT QB THIS WEEK AGAINST INDIANAPOLIS????. My only question is, what has Brian Hoyer done for him to lose the starting job??? If Manziel gets the start this week, then it only means that the Browns were looking all along for any excuse for him to take over. Benching Hoyer at this stage of the season will do nothing for his confidence, much like what the Jets did to QB, Mark Sanchez. That being the case, it would be wise for Hoyer to start looking for a team to join next season as his future in Cleveland would not be beneficial. Manziel told the Cleveland Browns to draft him and together they will wreck the NFL. If Manziel gets the start at QB, then the only things to get wrecked are Brian Hoyer's confidence and the Cleveland Brown;s playoff hopes for this season.
ADDITIONAL NOTE: It has been reported and confirmed that Brian Hoyer will be the starting QB on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. Also we thank our follower "The Gandaar1" for first providing this information to us.

They are hanging on for dear life anyway. It doesn t matter QB they use - the Browns have found a way to fail for over a decade
A few minutes ago ESPN satellite radio station said Hoyer would get the start against Indy. I'm not sure if they confirmed it
